Founder of Bidaya
Daanish
Masood Ahmed.
He / Him
A founder and interdisciplinary student working across education, artificial intelligence, law, economics and philosophy.
Build carefully.
Serve usefully.
Leave something lasting.
Why Bidaya
“I'm interested in the systems that shape how people think, learn and make decisions.”
Daanish founded Bidaya in 2024 to build practical humanitarian programmes that remain useful beyond the first intervention.
His work combines academic study with entrepreneurship and product building. He studies Law at LSE and Politics, Philosophy and Economics at SOAS, with additional study and training in artificial intelligence through MIT and Google. He also founded Nashex, an AI-powered learning platform, and mentors young leaders and entrepreneurs.
Bidaya grew from a simple concern: help should not be measured by the announcement, the photograph or the handover alone. A classroom needs an operator. A water point needs maintenance. A community programme needs clear ownership, evidence and follow-up. That belief shapes Bidaya's approach to planning, delivery and continuation.
